Dans un article paru au mois de mai dans  le<em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpchonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\">Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health<\/a><\/em>, des chercheurs australiens ont tent\u00e9 de d\u00e9montrer l\u2019impact qu\u2019avait un ant\u00e9c\u00e9dent de <strong>plagioc\u00e9phalie positionnelle<\/strong> sur le d\u00e9veloppement moteur de l\u2019enfant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"607\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/quentinjanicot.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/capture-d-e-cran-2018-04-25-a-12-24-26-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-138\" srcset=\"https:\/\/quentinjanicot.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/capture-d-e-cran-2018-04-25-a-12-24-26-1.jpg 607w, https:\/\/quentinjanicot.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/capture-d-e-cran-2018-04-25-a-12-24-26-1-300x297.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 607px) 100vw, 607px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour ce faire, ils ont \u00e9valu\u00e9 52 enfants de 3 \u00e0 5 ans ayant des ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents de plagioc\u00e9phalie, avec 52 enfants du m\u00eame \u00e2ge et avec les m\u00eames caract\u00e9ristiques physiques sans ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents de ce type. Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments analys\u00e9s \u00e9taient la posture statique, la flexibilit\u00e9 musculaire et l\u2019\u00e9quilibre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les <strong>r\u00e9sultats<\/strong> trouv\u00e9s sont <strong>\u00e9loquents<\/strong> : les enfants ayant des ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents de plagioc\u00e9phalie positionnelle ont montr\u00e9 une <strong>diff\u00e9rence significative<\/strong> dans la mani\u00e8re de positionner leur t\u00eate, la rigidit\u00e9 musculaire et la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9quilibre avec les enfants sans ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude met en \u00e9vidence l\u2019importance d\u2019<strong>assurer<\/strong> non pas un <strong>traitement<\/strong> uniquement symptomatique de la plagioc\u00e9phalie, mais bien <strong>\u00e9tiologique<\/strong> en identifiant les facteurs responsables de celle-ci : une r\u00e9traction musculaire du SCOM, traitable chirurgicalement ou en kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapie, ou un <strong>torticolis traitable par un <a href=\"http:\/\/quentinjanicot.fr\/index.php\/consulter\/pathologies-traitees\/plagiocephalie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"protocole ost\u00e9opathique (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\">protocole ost\u00e9opathique<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Source<\/em> : <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/27329908\" target=\"_blank\">Repercussions of plagiocephaly on posture, muscle flexibility and balance in children aged 3-5\u2009years old.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La plagioc\u00e9phalie (en grec \u00ab\u00a0t\u00eate plate\u00a0\u00bb) correspond \u00e0 une d\u00e9formation du cr\u00e2ne, signe clinique fr\u00e9quent chez le nourrisson et dont l\u2019origine peut \u00eatre un torticolis non soign\u00e9.
